The XTAR VC4 charger is a nifty little intelligent device capable of recognizing battery voltage and charge capacity and charging both Li-ion and Ni-MH batteries simultaneously.

Being a USB powered charger it is capable of being plugged into any AC USB wall adapter plug. The LCD where the charging current, battery voltage and charging capacity are displayed has a power saving feature having the backlight turned off or automatically go off after a few minutes of inactivity.
