These short fill bottles contain 50ml of nicotine-free liquid, with 10ml of extra space within the bottle to accommodate your nicotine shot of choice. Typically adding a 1 x 10ml nicotine shot (18mg) to a 50 ml short fill will give you 60ml of 3mg e-liquid.
Once you have added your preferred amount of nicotine, make sure you shake the contents of the short fill bottle well.
