To keep that flavour going strong, however, you’ll need to periodically replace your refillable pod.

How Long Do Pods Last?
In theory, your pods will last indefinitely unless they suffer damage like a crack. It is possible to use a pod for weeks or months without needing to change it, but for reasons we’ll be explaining this isn’t something we’d recommend.

How Much Do You Vape?
If you’re a heavy vaper, use high strength e-liquid or nic salts, or switch flavours often, you should replace your pod on a regular basis. This is because over time the quality of your pod can degrade due to use and strong e-liquids. E-liquid residue can also build up inside your pod so if you switch up flavours often, these residues could mix and leave a bad taste.

How Much E-Juice Do You Use?
When you vape continually throughout the day, you burn through a lot of e-liquid. The more e-liquid you use, the more often you’ll need to refill your pod, and the more often you’ll need to change out your e-liquid. If you notice that after a few days or weeks that your e-liquid isn’t tasting as clean and crisp as it used to and your clouds are less intense, you probably need a new pod.

Okay, So How Often Should I Replace My Refillable Pods?
The general rule of thumb is 3-5 days for heavy vapers and every week or two for more casual vapers. It really just comes down to the type of vaper you are and the quality of your vape and e-liquid. After using a pod mod for a while you’ll get a feel for when you need to change your pods out. Just remember that when the taste and vapour start to wane, it’s a good idea to get a new pod.
